Our Mission Is “To provide the Air gunner & Survival enthusiast a safe legal environment to practice their Field Craft & Air Rifle hunting skills at an affordable price”.
From Day Shoots, 1-1 hunting courses to Falconry experiences we can offer a large range of hunting, falconry & survival days where you will have access to over 100 acres of land (depending on event) to shoot including open field, coppiced areas, woodland & a couple of pond areas, between Rye & Battle in East Sussex.
The main air rifle quarry on the site is Rabbit, Grey Squirrel, Pigeon with Pheasant** & Duck** available in season.
We restrict our shoots to just 6 people as this allows you to wander around the site without compromising other shooters positions or having your day ruined by constantly running into the other shooters. Safety is always a concern, so we also ask experienced & novice alike, to provide a quick zero test, just to prove that when you squeeze the trigger, the pellet is going where you think it should. This also minimises any unnecessary suffering of the quarry whilst out in the field. After a quick safety briefing, you will all receive walkie talkies, with headsets, so you can communicate with any other shooters, or the instructors. You will then be taken out for a boundary walk. If you feel confident, you will then have the day to roam & hunt at your leisure, as we do not babysit past the zero test & safety briefing. Do not worry if you are new to air gunning either, as our instructors are available for tuition, if required.
All of the Air Gun Hunting & Falconry events are run out of our Base Camp between Battle & Rye in the stunning East Sussex Countryside set in 0ver 100 acres of established oak woodland. For this reason it’s worth noting that we do not have purpose built amenities. We do however, have an area aside with a portable toilet complete with privacy screen for your use, should you require this facility. You will be outside for the day but our suitably sheltered based camp is set up with a seating area for you to eat your lunch (not provided). Hot drinks are available all day, free of charge. A separate gun room is available for storing the rifles, so the seating area always remains safe & relaxed. The camp is also equipped with a Fire Point and First Aid Point.
